In plain English.

What you need to know.

• I collect the bare minimum to do my job — your name, email, website URL, and the data you submit when you talk to the AI chat.
• I do not sell your data. To anyone. Ever.
• I do not run third-party ad pixels. No Facebook Pixel. No Google Ads remarketing. No tracking you across the web.
• I use Google Analytics 4 to see traffic patterns (pages visited, source) but not personal info.
• I use industry-standard tools (Supabase, Netlify, Cloudinary, Anthropic, Resend, Firecrawl) to run the service. They each have their own privacy policies — links below.
• You can ask me to delete your data at any time by emailing info@caseyaddason.com and I will do it within 7 days.

The data, named.

From the free audit form

When you submit a free audit request, I collect:

• Your email address
• Your website URL
• Anything you write in the optional notes field
• The IP address your request came from (used only for rate limiting and abuse prevention, not stored long-term)

From the qualified intake form

When you fill out the longer intake form to start a paid engagement, I additionally collect:

• Your name and business name
• Phone number (optional)
• Industry / service category
• Approximate annual revenue (used for the qualification gate — $80K minimum)
• What you are trying to fix or grow

From the client dashboard + AI chat

If you become a client, I additionally store:

• Your full profile (name, business, industry, website, location, plan tier)
• Your audit data (Web Presence Score, keyword rankings, monthly homework)
• Every message you send the AI chat, plus every reply it generates
• Every change request you submit, plus its approval status
• Usage counters (messages per hour, change requests per month — used for rate limiting and billing)

From your website (when I scrape it)

To answer your questions accurately, the AI chat can fetch and read pages on your website. I store the scraped content for 1 hour in a per-client cache, then it expires. I do not crawl your full site without your permission.

Only for the work.

The data above is used for one thing: doing the SEO work you hired me for. Specifically:

• Generating your audit report
• Populating your client dashboard
• Powering the AI chat with real context about your business
• Tracking changes and shipping them to your site
• Sending you the monthly call invite, the renewal offer at month 3, and notifications about your account

That is it. I do not use your data to:

• Train AI models (Anthropic does not train on customer API data — I use the API, not consumer Claude)
• Run ad campaigns or retargeting
• Sell to data brokers, marketers, or anyone else
• Profile you across the web
• Send unrelated marketing emails

The vendors I use.

I use a small stack of trusted tools to run Addason Digital. Each handles a specific job and each has its own privacy policy. Here is the full list:

• Supabase — primary database. Stores client profiles, audit data, chat history, and change requests. Privacy policy
• Netlify — web hosting + serverless functions. Serves the website and runs the API endpoints. Privacy policy
• Cloudinary — image hosting + delivery. Stores branding assets and report screenshots. Privacy policy
• Anthropic (Claude API) — powers the AI chat. Anthropic does not train on API customer data. Privacy policy
• Resend — transactional email. Sends audit confirmations and notifications. Privacy policy
• Firecrawl — web scraping for site content. Used to fetch pages on your site so the AI can read them. Privacy policy
• HoneyBook — CRM and invoicing for paid clients. Privacy policy
• Google Analytics 4 — traffic analytics. IP addresses are anonymized. Privacy policy

If any of these vendors change in a way that affects your data, I will update this page within 7 days.

What runs in your browser.

The Addason Digital site uses a small number of cookies and localStorage entries:

• Session cookies — used by Netlify to keep your session active while you browse
• Analytics cookies — Google Analytics 4 sets _ga and _ga_* cookies to count unique visitors. IP addresses are anonymized.
• Chat client ID — when you use the AI chat, your client ID is stored in localStorage as aa_client_id so the chat remembers who you are between visits
• Admin secret — only set if you log into the admin panel (Casey only). Stored in localStorage as addason_admin_key.

You can clear all of these any time by clearing your browser's cookies and localStorage for this domain.

What you can ask me to do.

You can ask me to:

• Show you all the data I have about you. I will export it and email it to you within 7 days.
• Correct anything that's wrong. Email me with the correction.
• Delete your data. I will remove it from Supabase, the per-client cache, and any backups within 7 days. Note: emails I have already sent and HoneyBook invoices have to stay for tax/audit reasons.
• Stop me from using a specific tool. If you don't want your audit data scraped via Firecrawl, for example, tell me and I will note it on your account.
• Take your data with you. I will export it as JSON or CSV.

All requests go to info@caseyaddason.com. I respond within 48 hours and complete the request within 7 days.

Not for kids.

This service is for businesses. I do not knowingly collect data from anyone under 18. If you believe a minor has submitted data, email me and I will remove it.

How updates work.

If I make a meaningful change to this policy (added a new vendor, changed how I use a piece of data), I will:

• Update the "Last updated" date at the top
• Send active clients an email summarizing the change
• Keep the previous version available on request

Trivial changes (typo fixes, link updates) just get patched without notice.
