Frequently Asked Questions

Answers to what most people ask first.

Pricing, scope, the guarantee, the AI chat, the photo/video cross-sell. If your question is not here, email me at info@caseyaddason.com — I read every message myself.

What does Addason Digital actually do?

I run a productized SEO service for small service businesses. You get a 100-point audit, a live client dashboard with your score, keyword rankings, and homework, an AI chat trained on your profile, and changes shipped to your site within 24 hours of approval.

Pricing is monthly retainer ($500-$1500/mo) plus a one-time $1,000 setup fee. Three-month minimum engagement, then month-to-month.

How is this different from a regular SEO agency?

Three things.

I cap the roster. I work with a handful of clients at a time, not dozens, so every client gets real attention. When the roster is full, I tell new prospects "sorry, full" and put them on a waiting list. Most agencies cannot say no.

The dashboard shows real numbers in plain language. You log in and see your score, your keywords, what shipped this month, and what is on your homework list. No 40-page PDF reports nobody reads.

Every change request comes through me. There is no auto-applied "optimization" you didn't approve. The AI drafts and queues; I review and ship. You see the change live within 24 hours, not "we made some adjustments this month."

How much does it cost?

Three plans:

  • Essentials — $500/month, includes 3 change requests per month plus the monthly call
  • Pro — $750/month, unlimited change requests plus the monthly call
  • Full-Service — $1,500/month, Pro plus content writing, outreach, and a monthly photo/video shoot

Every plan has a one-time $1,000 setup fee that covers the deep audit, dashboard build, and onboarding. The first 3 clients in the beta get 50% off for the first 3 months.

How long is the engagement?

Three-month minimum. After that you can renew month-to-month, upgrade to a higher tier, or graduate.

Most SEO work shows real results between weeks 6 and 12, so 3 months is the minimum window for the engagement to make sense for both of us. Anything shorter is just buying a deliverable, not building a relationship.

Is there a guarantee?

Yes. If your Web Presence Score does not improve in 3 months, you get your money back — full refund of all monthly retainer fees.

You keep the audit, the dashboard, and any changes I made. The setup fee is non-refundable because it covers the work I have already done up front.

I have never had to refund a client. If you do your homework and stay engaged, the score moves.

What is the AI chat? Is a robot doing my SEO?

No. The AI chat is a tool for clients to ask questions and submit change requests. Every change request goes into a queue I personally review.

The AI does the heavy lifting — answering questions, drafting recommendations, scraping your site for context, generating reports — but I am the gatekeeper for anything that touches your site. Think of it as me having an assistant that handles the bandwidth so I can focus on the judgment.

What this gets you

A small-business price for what feels like a much bigger team. The system handles the volume. I handle the strategy.

What kinds of businesses do you work with?

Service businesses doing $80K+ in annual revenue. Wellness practitioners, dentists, real estate agents, law firms, contractors, photographers, fitness studios, consultants.

The Addason Digital playbook is built around real businesses doing real work in real geographic markets. I do not work with e-commerce sites with thousands of SKUs, national chains, or anyone trying to game the system.

What if my business is below $80K in annual revenue?

I will turn you down politely. The math does not work for either of us at sub-$80K. The retainer is too big a percentage of your top line and the upside is too thin to justify the engagement.

Come back when you are at $80K+ — the offer will still be here. In the meantime, the client guide has a lot of free information you can apply yourself.

How long until I see results?

Different things move at different speeds:

  • Same-day or 24 hours — mechanical fixes: typos, copy edits, schema markup, meta tags, button colors, image swaps. Approved → live.
  • 1–2 weeks — bigger content additions: a new page, a new section, a new pricing breakdown. Draft → review → revise → publish.
  • 3–6 weeks — ranking movements after a change ships. Google has to crawl, index, and re-evaluate. Don't refresh the dashboard daily looking for changes.
  • 2–3 months — meaningful lift in qualified leads. This is what the 3-month engagement is built around.

Don't judge a month by week 1.

Do you guarantee #1 rankings on Google?

No, and anyone who does is lying to you. Google does not give anyone special access. There is no "trick" to ranking #1.

What I guarantee is that your Web Presence Score will improve, your technical foundation will be solid, your content will be discoverable, and your chances of ranking will be dramatically better than where you started.

What rankings you actually get depends on competition in your market, the quality of your business, and how much homework you actually do.

Do you write content for me?

Only on the Full-Service tier ($1,500/month). Essentials and Pro cover technical SEO, schema markup, on-page optimization, dashboard reporting, and the AI chat — but content writing is a separate skill set that takes real time.

Full-Service includes monthly content drafts plus a photo/video shoot for fresh assets. If you want content but cannot afford Full-Service, I can refer you to writers I trust.

Do you build new websites?

Site remasters are a separate offering, not bundled with the audit retainer.

If your current site is fundamentally broken (a Wix from 2014, dead links everywhere, no mobile version) I will say so in the audit and we can talk about a remaster as a separate project. Some clients do the remaster first then start the retainer; others start the retainer and remaster after month 1.

How does the photo/video cross-sell work?

I am also a working wedding and event photographer based in Santa Fe. Clients on the Addason Digital engagement get a discounted rate on photo and video work for their own business.

Fresh photos and a 60-second talking-head video are the single biggest content lever for a service business that needs to look more credible. We talk about it on a monthly call when the timing is right — usually month 2-3, after the technical foundation is solid and you need new assets to fill the new pages.

What happens at the end of my 3-month engagement?

30 days before the engagement ends I send you a renewal offer. You can:

  • Renew month-to-month — same plan, no setup fee, cancel anytime
  • Upgrade to a higher tier — e.g., Essentials → Pro or Pro → Full-Service
  • Graduate — you keep your audit and dashboard (view-only), I ask you for a testimonial, and we part on good terms

No hard sells, no surprise charges, no clawback of work I already shipped.

Can I see a sample dashboard before signing up?

Yes — there is a working sample at addasondigital.com/example-dashboard/. It uses fictional data for a wellness studio called Willow's Wellness Studio.

The chat widget is live and functional. You can talk to it. The AI has Willow's full profile (her score, rankings, homework) and will respond as if you were the actual client. Every real client gets a dashboard at the same URL with their own client ID and their own data.

How do you prevent AI from leaking my data to other clients?

Three layers. First, every web page the AI reads goes through a sanitizer (sanitize.mjs) that strips 12 categories of prompt-injection attacks and hard-blocks 5 categories of data-exfiltration attempts — before the AI ever sees the content. Second, every AI reply goes through a deterministic post-filter (reply-validator.mjs) that checks for cross-tenant references, internal file paths, and hallucinated confirmations. If any are found, the reply is replaced with a safe fallback — even if the AI itself was compromised. Third, the AI's system prompt explicitly treats scraped content as untrusted data, not instructions.

This architecture is based on Simon Willison's "lethal trifecta" framing: any LLM system with private data + untrusted content + external communication is exploitable. We cut one leg of the trifecta by treating every scraped page as a potential attack. A 27-check regression suite — including 13 known-attack payloads — runs before every deploy and blocks the deploy if any test fails.
